The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, under the Department of the Navy, is seeking contractor support for the evaluation, overhaul, and repair of AN/SPS-49 Bull Gears. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) - Contracting Office at NSWC Crane - Products/Services Requested: - Evaluation of up to 10 AN/SPS-49 Bull Gears (P/N: 912001-1) - Overhaul and repair services for AN/SPS-49 Bull Gears, with five levels of overhaul (Levels I-V), each with specific requirements per the Statement of Work - Inspection, testing, and certification of overhauled bull gears - Evaluation and overhaul of bull gear bearings, including submission of evaluation reports with photographs - Delivery of evaluation reports, test reports, and certificates of compliance - Compliance with MIL-STD-129 for shipment, packaging, and marking - Adherence to quality and counterfeit material requirements - Compliance with CMMC Level 2 (Self) cybersecurity standards - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; the bull gear part number (912001-1/912001) is specified for the AN/SPS-49 system - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Multiple overhaul levels (I-V) with detailed technical requirements - Option line items allow for additional overhauls to be exercised as needed - Stringent reporting, testing, and certification deliverables - CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity compliance required - All work and deliveries to be performed at NSWC Crane, Indiana

SERVICE DESCRIPTION - BULL GEAR EVALUATION AND REPAIRS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATEMENT OF WORK.

Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://sam.gov.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.201(b)(1) applies and Solicitation Number N0016426Q0105 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.

All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
