Description

TNF Elevator and Lift Maintenance

This solicitation is to establish a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements, Non-Personal Services contract for commercial elevator and lift maintenance for the Forest Service, Tongass National Forest (TNF), Southeast Alaska. 

Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to ensure elevators and lifts are fully functional, compliant with American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, certified, and safe for use.  

Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and all other items and non‑personal services necessary to provide elevator and lift maintenance for multiple Tongass National Forest facilities throughout Southeast Alaska. Services include, but are not limited to, preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, minor repairs, remote monitoring, and load testing to ensure all units remain safe and operational. All services shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) this Performance Work Statement (PWS), the manufacturer’s technical manuals for each unit type, and all applicable local, state, and federal standards, laws, and regulations.

Place of Performance: The work shall be performed at multiple TNF facilities located throughout Southeast Alaska: Juneau, Craig, Thorne Bay, Sitka, Wrangell, and Petersburg.

Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for 1 Base Period of 12-months and 4 Option Periods of 12-months each.
