Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) and REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes as part of market research. No quotes are being requested or accepted at this time with this notice. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Coatesville VA Medical Center located at 1400 Black Horse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 has a requirement for the replacement of therapeutic patient bathing systems. This will include disconnecting the two existing ARJO bath units (Freedom Bath II) as well as the purchase, delivery, and potential installation of two new therapeutic patient bath units which meet the salient characteristics outlined within the draft Statement of Work. Any replacement tubs must be installed in the existing space without significant plumbing or construction remodel efforts; the existing plumbing hot/cold water supply and drains can not be relocated. The Draft Statement of Work and Attachment 1 provides the salient characteristics, scope, and drawings of the installation areas.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code being considered for this procurement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 800 employees.

Information is being requested from industry to determine the following:

Does the draft Statement of Work and Attachment 1 provide enough information for offerors to submit an accurate quote, if not please identify any other essential information which would be needed. Does your business provide a bathing system which meets the listed salient characteristics? Are the installation services a limiting factor in your business s capability to fulfill this requirement, or can you meet all requirements outlined in the draft Statement of Work?
