The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking a contractor to deliver specialized medical acquisition training for its personnel, with a focus on FDA-regulated medical product development. - Government Buyer: - Defense Health Agency (DHA), Medical R&D Contracting Division 1, Fort Detrick, Maryland - Operational Medicine (OPMED) and Medical R&D Contracting Division 1 are key offices - Training Services Requested: - Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certified Intermediate Medical Acquisition Course (IMAC) - Six (6) annual offerings of a 40-hour, DAU Level II certified, medically focused acquisition course - Designed for acquisition personnel working with FDA-regulated drugs, vaccines, and devices - Delivery can be in-person at Fort Detrick, other CONUS DOD/non-DOD sites, or virtually via MS Teams - Includes course materials, student recruitment, registration, certificates, and evaluations - Truncated Senior Leader IMAC Course (non-DAU certified) - 2-4 annual offerings (with options for up to 2 additional) - 16-22 hour course tailored for senior leaders - Includes all supporting materials and delivery options as above - Other Direct Costs (ODCs) as required by the Performance Work Statement - Unique or Notable Requirements: - IMAC course must be DAU Level II certified and focused on FDA-regulated medical product development - Training must support both in-person and virtual delivery, with flexibility for location - Contractor responsible for all logistics, materials, and certification issuance - Small business set-asides apply (HUBZone, SDVOSB) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; DAU certification is a key credential - Quantities: - 6 DAU-certified IMAC courses per year - 2-4 truncated non-certified courses per year, with options for additional offerings - Locations: - Primary: Fort Detrick, Maryland (DOD facility) - Additional: Other CONUS DOD/non-DOD sites as needed, and virtual delivery - Contract Structure: - Base period plus up to four option years (total up to 5 years) - Firm fixed price contract with options for extended services and additional offerings

This requirement is for non-personal services to provide a Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certified Intermediate Medical Acquisition Course (IMAC), as well as a truncated Sr. Leader (non-DAU) IMAC course.  These courses are specialized training courses focused on acquisition in FDA-regulated medical product development. IMAC supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) mission by equipping acquisition personnel with advanced knowledge beyond general DAU acquisition courses.
