Sources Sought - Solicitation Number: 36C26026Q0507, Project 668-24-103, Replace Buildings 1, 2, 3, and 31 Roofing Systems. This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids; nor a synopsis of a proposed contract action under FAR Subpart 5.2 and no contract shall be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. No solicitation is available currently. This notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested Small Businesses. Responses to this Sources Sought may shape the acquisition strategy in developing a competitive requirement. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future or potential solicitation. It is the intent of the VA to use the information gathered for market research purposes only. Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 20, is conducting market research for a construction contract for roof replacement of five buildings on the campus of Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The new roofs will include built-up roofing, single ply membrane roofing, elastomeric roofing, and assumed TPO roofing membrane. Some of the buildings will also require new metal coping as well as fall protection. See the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW), draft 35% Schematic Design Specifications, and Hazmat Survey Reports. The Drawings referenced in the SOW are currently not available. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $19 million. Sources are highly encouraged to respond to this notice.
