THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The purpose of this sole source award to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources is to conduct breeding duck pair surveys on 400-600 wetlands across Iowa each May, for a base period and up to three option years, subject to the availability of funding. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is uniquely positioned to perform this work without disrupting long term monitoring efforts.
