Howard County is seeking a qualified construction firm to upgrade the fuel storage and dispensing system at the Department of Recreation & Parks Headquarters. - Government Buyer: - Howard County Office of Procurement (Department of Recreation & Parks, Bureau of Facilities, Office of Procurement and Contract Administration) - Project Scope: - Demolition and removal of three existing 10,000-gallon aboveground steel fuel storage tanks (ASTs) for diesel and gasoline, including all accessories - Demolition and removal of existing fuel dispensers, piping, electrical wiring, lighting, surveillance equipment, and associated infrastructure - Installation of two new 12,000-gallon double-walled fiberglass underground storage tanks (USTs) for diesel and gasoline - Installation of a new fuel service island with two high-flow fuel dispensers (diesel and unleaded gasoline), including all accessories - Installation of a 1,000-gallon double-wall steel oil/water separator system (Highland Tank Model HTC-1000 Series-G UL-SU2215 or equivalent) - New electrical system components, including wiring, grounding, lighting, panelboards, conduits, boxes, supports, and lightning protection - Integration and reconnection of the E.J.
