USDA Seeks Comments on Extension of Professional Standards Trainings and Tracker Tool Information Collection

The Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the Department of Agriculture is announcing an extension of its information collection for the USDA Professional Standards Trainings and Tracker Tool (PSTTT): - The PSTTT is a web-based application designed to help State agencies and school nutrition professionals: - Search for trainings - Record, track, and manage required training hours to comply with the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA) Professional Standards Rule - Use of the PSTTT is voluntary, provided at no cost, and compatible with all major mobile operating systems - No specific products, services, OEMs, or vendors are being procured or named in this notice - The notice seeks public comments on the utility, accuracy, and burden of the information collection - Estimated annual burden is 17,090 hours for 10,006 respondents (State agency personnel and school nutrition professionals)

Description

This notice announces the extension, without change, of an information collection related to the USDA Professional Standards Trainings and Tracker Tool (PSTTT). The tool assists State agencies and school nutrition professionals in searching for trainings, recording, tracking, and managing required training hours to meet the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA) of 2010 Professional Standards Rule. The PSTTT is a web-based application that facilitates compliance with mandatory annual training requirements for school nutrition professionals. Comments on this collection are invited until June 1, 2026.
