Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command is proposing a public information collection to analyze the demographics, training requirements, and occupational experience of the shipbuilding defense industrial base. This data collection is mandated by the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 and will inform a biennial report to Congress as well as Navy workforce development strategies. The survey is conducted biennially via a Microsoft Excel questionnaire sent to private companies and industry organizations in the shipbuilding industrial base.
