Description
The subcontractor must provide all labor, oversight, tools, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work safely and in compliance with approved BIO documents as well as SLAC, DOE, and ES&H standards. The subcontractor shall remove and replace, in its entirety, the HVAC systems servicing the Beam Position Monitor (BPM) Rooms in Buildings 116 and 132. All construction activities must be performed primarily during SSRL’s Summer 2026 shutdown, scheduled from July 21, 2026 through October 1, 2026, with the HVAC system operational no later than September 19, 2026. If equipment lead times prevent full completion by this date, the project shall be phased to complete as much work as possible during the Summer 2026 shutdown, with any remaining work performed during the Summer 2027 shutdown.
