NIST's Material Measurement Laboratory is seeking a Gas Chromatograph system with advanced detection capabilities to support semiconductor gas impurity analysis at extremely low concentrations. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Material Measurement Laboratory, Gas Sensing Metrology Group, Chemical Sciences Division - Acquisition Management Division, NIST, Gaithersburg, MD - Products and Services Requested: - Gas Chromatograph with Flame Ionization Detector (FID) and Pulsed Discharge Helium Ionization Detector (PDHID) - Includes 6-port gas sampling valve, 10 mL sample loop, pneumatically actuated heart cut valve, helium mass spectrometer leak-tested valves, helium purifiers, injector and flow control system for packed columns, micro-electrically actuated 12-position stream select valve, GC oven with temperature programming and liquid nitrogen cooling, remote start/stop capability - Software for instrument control, data collection, and analysis with a permanent license - Quantity: 1 system - Operations and maintenance manual (1 unit) - Installation service (uncrating, setup, demonstration, trash removal at NIST) - Training service (at least 2 hours for up to two NIST personnel) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - System must enable sub-parts-per-billion impurity analysis in semiconductor gases - Delivery required within 90 days of award; installation within 10 days of delivery; training within 10 days of installation - Warranty coverage for at least one year after successful delivery, installation, training, and demonstration - All technical specifications and compliance requirements detailed in the Statement of Work - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solicitation is open to qualified manufacturers of GC-FID/PDHID systems - Place of Performance and Delivery: - National Institute of Standards and Technology, 100 Bureau Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20899 (Building 227 for installation, Building 301 for shipping/receiving)
