The National Park Service (NPS), Cape Hatteras National Seashore, is seeking a contractor for large-scale debris removal at the Buxton Lifeguard Beach parking lot in Buxton, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior - Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Outer Banks Group - Contracting office: SER NORTH MABO (53000), Gatlinburg, TN - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of approximately 720 tons of housing debris from collapsed houses - Debris includes wood, electrical wires, appliances, damaged hot tubs, furniture, PVC pipes, and other materials - Site restoration required: asphalt cleaning, filling gouges, and restoring the parking lot - Contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local disposal regulations - Waste Management Plan required - Daily reporting and coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) - Optional Work: - Option 1: Removal of up to 120 additional tons of debris if needed within 90 days of award - Option 2: Removal of up to 60 additional tons of debris if needed within 90 days of award - Unique Requirements: - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 562119 (Other Waste Collection) - Mandatory registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) - Site inspection by offerors is encouraged prior to bidding - No specific OEMs or named vendors are referenced; open to qualified small business waste management contractors - Place of Performance: - Buxton Lifeguard Beach parking lot, Buxton, NC (Cape Hatteras National Seashore) - Period of Performance: - Base: 28 days from award for main debris removal - Options: May be exercised within 90 days of award for additional debris removal

The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for services required to removal of housing debris which includes wood, electrical wires, appliances, damaged hot tubs, furniture, PVC pipes, and more from the Buxton Lifeguard Beach parking lot in Buxton, NC. The estimate the debris is approximately 720 Tons.
