Description

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) invites public comments on its intention to request Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection under OMB 2133-0530. This collection is necessary for MARAD to determine if US-flag vessels of 100 feet or greater in registered length are owned and controlled by US citizens and thus eligible to receive a fishery endorsement to their documentation. The information collected will also help ensure compliance with the American Fisheries Act and assess any conflicts with international treaties. Comments are due by May 29, 2026.
