USDA Sole Source Procurement: ANSI Membership for ISO Food Standards Committees (2026)

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Livestock and Poultry Program, intends to award a sole source contract for annual membership in the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to support its administration of U.S. Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) for ISO food standards committees. - Sole source procurement for ANSI government membership and participation in ISO Technical Committees 34/SC 5 (Milk and milk products), 34/SC 6 (Meat, poultry, fish, eggs and their products), and 34/SC 17 (Management systems for food safety) - Membership enables USDA to represent the U.S. in international food standards development - Only ANSI can provide this membership, as it is the sole U.S. ISO member and liaison - Annual membership and participation fees total $18,325 for the 2026 calendar year - Period of performance: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026 - Place of performance: USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, Livestock and Poultry Program Headquarters, Washington, DC - No physical products; the procurement is for organizational membership and related accreditation/administration services - Details and justification for limited competition are provided in the attached Statement of Work and JOFOC
