The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD is seeking a sole source procurement for a Drive Control Upgrade for a 300HP Test Stand at the Electrical Power Systems and Environmental Facility (EPSEF): - Government Buyer: - Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Electrical Power Systems and Environmental Facility (EPSEF) - OEMs and Vendors: - NIDEC MOTOR CORPORATION (OEM for drive controller and Ethernet module) - PRO-FACE (OEM for HMI control interface) - Products Requested: - 1x Nidec ADD32Plus Drive Controller (P/N D46505) - 1x Nidec Ethernet Module (P/N A40267) - 1x HMI PRO-FACE Control Interface (P/N PFXGP4601TAD) - Services Requested: - Software programming for HMI control points (Windows 11 compatible) - Installation and startup (integration, tuning, and commissioning) - Standard manufacturer's warranty - Notable Requirements: - All hardware must be compatible with the existing Nidec ADD32 850A Drive Controller DC0850-MBL1-C SN1075 - HMI must provide Ethernet connectivity, 12.1" monitor, rack mounting, and multiple drive control functions (including emergency shutdown and speed/ramp setpoints) - Delivery and installation at Patuxent River, MD federal facility - Sole source justification based on OEM compatibility and technical requirements

Standard Time.

 Due to limited ability to respond to mail in bids or voicemail requests we request that any

questions concerning solicitation N00421-26-Q-1112  be emailed to

Solicitation N00421-26-Q-1112 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government intends to

Purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a

Sole source basis with NIDEC MOTOR CORPORATION, under the authority implemented by Federal

 Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13..

Offerors must be registered in SAM.GOV database prior to submission of an offer to be

considered for award of any DOD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at

http://www.SAM.gov.

See Attached Solicitation Standard Form SF18 and Section C Statement of Work (SOW)

 This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the

 Vendor’s best quote in terms of lowest price and technical acceptability.  Your quote must

contain enough technical information to evaluate your quote. Your quote will only be evaluated

on the information, you provide.

Basis for Award

All interested parties MUST submit a quote no later than April 2, 2026 @ 12:00 PM Eastern

Standard Time. Award will be made to the vendor that submits the lowest, firm fixed-price

Quotation that meets all the requirements in Section B.  See attached SF-18.
