The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a contractor to provide a comprehensive, secure solution for the production and issuance of New York State identity documents. - Government Buyer: - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV), Contracts Division - Products and Services Requested: - Production of secure identity documents, including: - Standard Driver Licenses and Identification Cards - REAL ID-compliant DL/ID cards - Enhanced Driver Licenses/ID/Permits - Employee, occupation, and professional ID cards (with and without proximity chips) - Permits and other specialty cards - Hardware and software for document production and issuance - Annual lease options for additional equipment (ICW, Mobile ICW, IRW, signature capture devices, scanners) - Transition production planning and out-of-scope change request support - Comprehensive services: design, development, customization, installation, training, personnel, supplies, and maintenance - Notable Requirements: - High security and fraud prevention standards for all processes and products - Compliance with federal and state laws, including privacy and data security mandates - MWBE participation and non-discrimination requirements - Vendor must have at least five years of experience in secure government document production and have implemented a similar system within the past five years - Cost ceilings per card type (e.g., $1.75 for standard/REAL ID, $3.50 for enhanced, $5.20 for proximity chip cards) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified manufacturers and solution providers - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Primary production at the Albany Production Facility (Swan Street Building, Albany, NY) - Distribution and issuance at approximately 120 DMV offices and partner locations statewide

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is soliciting proposals for a contract to produce secure New York State Identity Documents, including standard, REAL ID, enhanced driver licenses/IDs, employee IDs, and various occupation/professional cards.
