NIST is seeking to acquire a high-resolution confocal Raman-Photoluminescence (PL) microscope system, specifically the Horiba LABRAM Odyssey Confocal Raman Microscope, for advanced semiconductor materials research under the CHIPS Act. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) - Materials Measurement Laboratory / Applied Chemicals and Materials Division - Acquisition Management Division, NIST, Gaithersburg, MD - OEMs and Vendors: - Horiba (Brand Name Only requirement) - Products and Quantities: - Horiba LABRAM Odyssey Confocal Raman Microscope (1 unit) - High Resolution Confocal Raman-PL Microscope with 532 nm and 785 nm lasers (1 unit) - Optical Table, passively damped, 4 ft x 8 ft (1 unit, option) - Bandpass and Notch Filters at 532 nm (1 unit, option) - Bandpass and Notch Filters at 785 nm (1 unit, option) - Polarized Raman Kit (1 unit, option) - Heating and Freezing Stages, -196°C to 600°C (1 unit, option) - AFM-Raman/TERS/TEPL Upgrade (1 unit, option) - Other transportation related charges (Not-to-Exceed amount) - Services Requested: - Installation of microscope and accessories - On-site training for up to five users, with ongoing training options for two years - Government acceptance testing and inspection - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Brand Name Only: Horiba LABRAM Odyssey is the only acceptable model - System must include both 532 nm and 785 nm lasers, multichannel CCD detector, spectroscopy software, motorized XYZ stage, multiple gratings, microscope objectives, and AFM coupling port - Optional upgrades for advanced research (AFM-Raman/TERS/TEPL, heating/freezing stages, polarization analysis) - Delivery, installation, and training must occur at NIST Boulder, with strict timelines (delivery/installation within 150 days, training within 30 days post-installation) - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 334516 - Place of Performance: - NIST Boulder, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305 (Building 2 or 81)
