Hanscom AFB Fiber-To-The-Desk Network Installation and VTC Support

This opportunity seeks a contractor to install a Fiber-To-The-Desk (FTTD) network at Hanscom Air Force Base, supporting secure connectivity for mission-critical activities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, including the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) - Sub-agencies: 66th Air Base Group (66ABG)/SCOI, Nuclear Command and Operations (NCO) - OEMs and Vendors: - Cisco (for Room Kit-based Video Teleconferencing system compatibility and transceiver modules) - Products/Services Requested: - Installation of OM4 multimode fiber optic cabling (4 strands per desk, approx. 96 endpoints) - TAA/NDAA compliant multi-mode duplex LC/LC OM4 OFNP fiber (192 strands, red jacket) - Patch panels for cable management - Installation of ceiling speakers (2 per conference room) and table microphones (already purchased) - Installation and cable management using J-hooks, Panduit, and fire caulking - Labeling per ANSI/TIA standards - Coordination with government for network connectivity - Cisco-compliant transceiver modules (96 units, government-furnished) - Comprehensive documentation and validation of the installed network - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All cabling and components must be TAA/NDAA compliant - Strict adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards - Compatibility with Cisco Room Kit-based VTC systems in both classified and unclassified environments - Contractor must coordinate with government project managers and network providers - Cable labeling and management must meet ANSI/TIA-606 standards - Contractor responsible for procurement, installation, and documentation - Period of performance is 30 to 90 calendar days from award, with possible option years for future work

Description

The intent of this contract is to install Fiber-To-The-Desk (FTTD) within the rooms of B1109 (2nd floor) located at Hanscom AFB.    The contractor must be capable of implementing TAA/NDAA compliant cabling solutions, strict security, performance, and compliance standards, identify compatibility with Cisco Room Kit-based VTC systems in classified/unclassified environments and understand labor and material sourcing timelines to determine if 90-day period of performance.
