The City of Laguna Niguel Public Works Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for municipal electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across multiple city locations. - Government Buyer: - City of Laguna Niguel Public Works Department - OEMs and Vendors: - ChargePoint (primary OEM for all EV charging stations) - Products Requested: - ChargePoint CT4020-HD-GW (2 units) at Laguna Niguel City Hall - ChargePoint CPE250C-500-CCS1-CHD (1 unit) at Laguna Niguel City Hall - ChargePoint CT4020-HD2-GW-LTE (2 units) at Crown Valley Community Center - ChargePoint CT4020-HD2-GW (2 units) at Laguna Niguel-Mission Viejo Metrolink Station - Services Requested: - Quarterly preventive maintenance (inspection, cleaning, firmware updates, network coordination, minor repairs) - As-needed network monitoring and diagnostics - As-needed corrective maintenance and repairs (including vandalism and component replacement) - Emergency response for critical failures (outages, electrical hazards, safety malfunctions) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a valid C-10 Electrical Contractors license and be ChargePoint-approved - Minimum five years of relevant experience required - Compliance with prevailing wage laws and all applicable safety standards - Coordination with network providers and utilities is mandatory - All work must ensure EV stations remain safe, operational, code-compliant, and available for public and municipal use - Locations: - Laguna Niguel City Hall - Crown Valley Community Center - Laguna Niguel-Mission Viejo Metrolink Station - Contract Term: - Three years with two optional one-year extensions (up to five years total)
