The County of Placer is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide broadband infrastructure hardware installation and internet service across multiple locations within the county. The services aim to meet or exceed federal broadband standards of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds, with preference for providers offering symmetrical service greater than 100 Mbps. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) intends to establish a list of approximately ten qualified contractors for a three-year period, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms. The contract will be awarded on an as-needed basis to support broadband expansion in underserved communities.
