Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission have determined that revoking the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, sheet, and strip from India, Taiwan, China, and the UAE would likely lead to continued dumping, subsidies, and material injury to U.S. industry. Consequently, Commerce is continuing these AD and CVD orders, requiring U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits at current rates on imports of the subject merchandise. The orders cover all gauges of raw, pre-treated, or primed PET film, excluding metallized films and certain other specified types.
