Description

This notice announces the completion of an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects by the San Bernardino County Museum in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified remains of at least 10 Native American individuals and 10 associated funerary objects, with cultural affiliation to the Morongo Band of Mission Indians and the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation. Repatriation requests may be submitted by affiliated tribes or lineal descendants, with repatriation occurring on or after April 27, 2026.
