Description

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation (NYOPRHP) proposes to transfer human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). These remains were listed in notices of inventory completion published in the Federal Register on June 27, 2024, and December 18, 2025. The transfer or reinterment may occur on or after April 27, 2026. The notice includes details about the cultural affiliation and consultation with Native American tribes regarding the remains.
