Durham Technical Community College is seeking proposals for a multi-year contract to provide and service combo snack and beverage vending machines across several campus locations. - Government Buyer: - Durham Technical Community College, part of the North Carolina Community College System - Products Requested: - 17 combo snack and beverage vending machines - Must be new or like-new, ADA compliant, UL approved, ENERGY STAR rated - Equipped with credit/debit card readers (cellular network), bill recyclers, and accept coins, bills, and electronic payments - Stock a variety of snacks and beverages, including healthy options, carbonated and non-carbonated drinks, functional beverages, and water - 1 beverage-only vending machine - Same technical and service requirements as combo machines - Services Requested: - Weekly servicing, stocking, technical repair, and maintenance of all machines - Prompt response to inoperable machines (within 4 hours during business hours) - Handling refunds, signage, product recalls, and complaint investigation - Monthly sales reporting and commission payments to the College - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Machines must comply with ADA, UL, and ENERGY STAR standards - Vendors must provide new or like-new equipment - Sustainability focus (ENERGY STAR) - Vendors must be registered with the State of North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal - Electronic-only proposal submission - Locations: - Main Campus (Durham, NC) - Duke Street North Campus (Durham, NC) - Northern Durham Center (Durham, NC) - Orange County Campus (Hillsborough, NC)
