The Maryland State Department of Education is seeking an expert or team with expertise in conflict resolution and/or early dispute resolution to provide statewide training and technical assistance for school and LEA staff. The training focuses on reducing, managing, and resolving conflict between schools and families during the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The goal is to help Local Education Agencies (LEAs) engage with families in a manner that lessens conflict over special education services.
