The Department of the Navy, through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), is seeking a small business contractor to provide comprehensive moving and relocation services for government equipment and materials in support of military construction projects. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) - Products/Services Requested: - Relocation of approximately 600 pallets/bins/crates (each ~4ft x 4ft, avg. 1,144 lbs, not stackable) and 50 large warehouse items (up to 3ft x 3ft x 20ft, avg. 2,288 lbs, some stackable) from Buildings 147/367 to a government-controlled leased storage facility up to 21 miles away - Relocation of classroom/office furniture and materials (including display cases, toolbox/workbench, filing cabinet, up to 10 tables, 20 chairs, and miscellaneous items) from Building 445 to Building 502 on Naval Base Kitsap (less than 2 miles) - Contractor must provide all personnel, transportation vehicles, forklifts (capable of lifting up to 6,000 lbs), packing and moving supplies, and trash removal - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All items must be handled and secured for transport, with some requiring movement up one flight of stairs - Contractor responsible for all logistics, including packing, loading/unloading, and scheduling with the Contracting Officer Representative - 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS 484210 - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Period of performance is from May 7, 2026, to December 31, 2026

The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) intends to award a standalone, Firm-Fixed Price contract to remove equipment and material from buildings to provide space for construction activities.

Description:

The Navy is undertaking an effort to revitalize and optimize industrial infrastructure at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF). To support upcoming military construction projects, PSNS&IMF must remove equipment and material from buildings to provide space for construction activities.  This requirement will relocate Government equipment and materials in two main efforts. First, relocate warehouse equipment and materials from PSNS&IMF CIA Building 147 and/or 367 to a government controlled leased storage facility.  Second, relocate classroom/office furniture and materials less than 2-miles from Building 445 to Building 502 located on Naval Base Kitsap

Scope:

Contractor will relocate all equipment and materials identified by Contracting Officer Representative (COR) up to the maximum quantity outlined in the approved vendor quote. Contractors will provide suitable transportation vehicles, lifting and handling equipment, and all packing and moving supplies required to relocate equipment and materials.  A full description of the project scope is available in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Period of Performance - 7 May 2026 – 31 Dec 2026
