The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to operate, maintain, and store two NPS-owned trolleys for seasonal visitor transportation at Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, Massachusetts. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Northeast Region (NER), Adams National Historical Park, NER SERVICES MABO (43000), Boston National Historical Park Contracting Office - OEMs and Vendors: - ARBOC Specialty Vehicles is the OEM for the 'Spirit of America 29' double door ADA trolleys used in this service - Products/Services Requested: - Operation of two NPS-owned diesel trolleys for visitor transportation, five days a week (Wednesday-Sunday), May 1 to October 31 each year - Provision of qualified drivers (Massachusetts CDL Class A with passenger endorsement, meeting federal physical standards) - Preventative and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of trolleys (including detailed maintenance schedule: oil changes, inspections, filter replacements, etc.) - Fuel supply for daily operations - Secure storage of trolleys during both operational and off-season periods (total 12 months) - Vehicle liability and driver insurance - Charter orders and special event transportation as needed - Detailed recordkeeping and compliance with federal and state regulations - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Trolleys are ADA accessible 'Spirit of America 29' models by ARBOC Specialty Vehicles - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and insurance for operation, maintenance, and storage - Mechanical maintenance and charter orders are capped at specified dollar amounts per year - Option years extend the contract through April 2028 - All work performed at Adams National Historical Park and related NPS facilities in Quincy, MA

Description

Adams National Historical Park, in the City of Quincy, Massachusetts. Utilizing two (2) National Park Service-owned buses also referred to as trolleys, the Contractor will operate a seasonal visitor transportation service and provide all maintenance, repair, and storage for the National Park Service vehicles. The 2026-year trolley service will operate five days a week Wednesday - Sunday during the period of May 1, 2026 - October 31, 2026. During that period of performance, the trolley shall operate from 9:10 am - 5:10 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. In 2026, the trolleys will be stored by the Contractor during both the performance period and the non-performance period for a total of 12 months.
