The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service (IHS), is seeking information from qualified vendors for secure shredding services at the Whiteriver Service Unit in Arizona. - Government Buyer: - Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, Whiteriver Service Unit - Services Requested: - On-site shredding of confidential documents at Whiteriver Indian Hospital and Cibecue Health Center - Provision, maintenance, and collection of secured locking shred bins and consoles (65 and 95 gallons, consoles) with tamper-resistant locking systems and attached lids - Crosscut shredding required, rendering documents unreadable - Certificates of destruction must be provided after each service - Service to be performed monthly during normal business hours - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must qualify as an Indian Economic Enterprise under HHSAR 326.601 and/or meet small business size standards under NAICS 561990 - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified - Market research only; not a solicitation or award - Locations: - Whiteriver Indian Hospital and Cibecue Health Center (federal facilities in Arizona) - Contracting office at Phoenix Area Indian Health Service, Phoenix, AZ

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine the availability of vendors who meet the definition of an “Indian Economic Enterprise” in accordance with HHSAR 326.601, and also/or meet the small business size standards under the NAICS Code associated with this notice. Responses to this sources sought notice will assist in determining the method of procurement and acquisition strategy use for an upcoming requirement. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award.

All capable sources shall express written interest by responding to this sources sought notice with the following information:

1. Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Website, and business size under the associated NAICS Code. 2. System for Award Management (SAM)Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, expiration, and registration status. 3. Any active GSA, VA, FSS procurement vehicle. 4. Capabilities Statement (no more than 1 page) 5. Complete the attached IHS Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form.
