GSA seeks fire alarm equipment and installation services in Corpus Christi, Texas

The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service, PBS Project Delivery West - Branch B, is seeking qualified fire alarm contractors for a project in Corpus Christi, Texas. - Equipment Requirements: - Fire alarm equipment must meet technical specifications equal to: - Siemens Building Technologies Modular Pro (PAD-4 Remote Power Supply) - EST4X Voice EVAC (BPS6A Remote Power Supply) - Notifier NFS3030 with DAA-2 Amplifiers (PSE-10 Remote Power Supply) - OEMs highlighted: Siemens Building Technologies, EST, Notifier - Equipment must be serviceable by at least three independent authorized service providers within 250 miles of Corpus Christi - Contractor Qualifications: - Prime contractor must employ a NICET IV Fire Alarm Technician certified on the proposed system and holding a Texas APS License - Installation must be supervised by a NICET III Fire Alarm Technician - Contractors must demonstrate at least three successful past projects valued over $500,000 installing or replacing NFPA-compliant fire alarms in occupied office buildings - Place of Performance: - Corpus Christi, Texas - Contracting Office: - GSA PBS Project Delivery West - Branch B, Washington, DC

Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) is inquiring to see if there are viable fire alarm contractors who can meet the following requirements: 

1. Provide Fire Alarm Equipment that meets the technical specifications equal to: Siemens Building Technologies, Modular Pro (PAD-4 Remote Power Supply); EST4X Voice EVAC (BPS6A Remote Power Supply); or Notifier NFS3030 with DAA-2 Ampliphiers (PSE-10 Remote Power Supply). The equipment must be serviceable by 3 independent authorized service providers within 250 miles of Corpus Christi, TX. 

2. Prime contractor must employ a NICET IV Fire Alarm Technician on a full-time basis.  This technician must be certified on the proposed fire alarm system and hold a Texas APS License. 

3. Installation must be supervised by a NICET III Fire Alarm Technician.

4. Contractor must have at least 3 successful past projects valued over $500,000.00 installing or replacing an NFPA Compliant Fire Alarm in an occupied and functioning office building.
