Water Treatment Maintenance Services for HVAC and Potable Water Systems at U.S. Embassy Paramaribo

The U.S. Embassy Paramaribo, under the U.S. Department of State's Overseas Buildings Operations, is seeking water treatment maintenance services for its HVAC and potable water systems. - Scope of work includes: - Logistics, customs, shipping, transportation, and labor - Supply of water treatment chemicals, tools, and testing kits/equipment - Administrative and management support functions - Maintenance using physical and chemical methods, equipment servicing, and testing - Control of corrosion, scaling, deposits, and microbiological fouling - All work must comply with standards from: - NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) - AWWA (American Water Works Association) - ANSI, SDS, ASTM, NFPA, UL, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA - Applicable manufacturer O&M and installation instructions - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Firm fixed price contract; contractors must be registered in SAM - Place of performance is the U.S. Embassy Paramaribo, Kristalstraat 165, Paramaribo, Suriname - Contracting office is the U.S. Department of State, 2201 C St NW, Washington, DC

Description

The Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has a requirement to obtain water treatment maintenance services to execute this work, including logistics, customs, shipping, transportation, labor, water treatment chemicals, tools, water treatment testing kits/equipment, administrative and all associated management support functions. The water treatment service contract will include but not limited to combinations of physical methods, chemical methods, equipment servicing and testing to control water-related problems such as corrosion, scaling, general deposits, and microbiological fouling of the HVAC and potable water systems. All work shall comply with the requirements described in the following, as a minimum:  

NSF Standards (National Sanitation Foundation)  

AWWA Standards (American Water Works Association) ANSI Standards  

SDS Regulations  

ASTM D  

NFPA Codes  

UL Standards  

IEEE Standards  

NEMA Standards  

OSHA Standards  

And all applicable manufacturer O&M and installation instructions/requirements.  

The anticipated project schedule will be provided during the pre-bid walk through (pre-quotation conference), which will be held on a to-be determined date. 

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.  

All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation or proposal, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
