The facility will serve the Shaunavon & District Fire Region, supporting emergency fire services for the town and surrounding municipalities. The building specifications include a 70 x 133 ft shop with 20-ft ceilings, apparatus bays, a drive-through bay, meeting and training areas, air compressor system, kitchen amenities, showers, and specialized training and safety features. The selected consultant will ensure compliance with Provincial Building Standards and the National Building Code throughout the project.
