The Rural Municipality of Connaught No. 457 is soliciting tenders for the replacement of the bridge over Crooked River at Barnett’s Bridge (N 20-46-13 W2M). The work includes demolition and disposal of the existing three-span timber bridge, installation of driven steel pipe piles, placement of concrete for piles and precast concrete abutment caps and girders, installation of precast concrete backwalls and wing walls, excavation and hauling of materials, granular backfill, embankment excavation and regrading, erosion control, fabrication and installation of bridge rails, and roadwork including removal of an existing culvert and regrading approaches.
