The Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Energy and Resources, is seeking qualified prime contractors for engineering and consulting services related to the abandonment and decommissioning of oil and gas infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Energy and Resources, Liability Management Branch - Scope of Work: - Downhole abandonment of oil, gas, and industry-related wells in accordance with Directive PNG015 - Abandonment of flowlines and pipelines following CSA Z662:19 Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems - Well site and facility decommissioning as per industry best practices - Engineering, consulting, supervision, document submissions, third-party procurement and payment, facilitation for sale of used equipment, and disposal of well site refuge - Locations: - Primary work in Lloydminster, Kindersley, Estevan, and Swift Current, Saskatchewan - Contracting office and oversight at Ministry of Energy and Resources Liability Management Branch, Regina, SK - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with provincial safety and employment regulations - Contractors must provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and materials - Adherence to Directive PNG015 and CSA Z662:19 standards - Pool of qualified consultants will be established; work orders assigned equally or by well site quantity - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking prime contractors for engineering and consulting services to conduct well and flowline abandonments as well as site decommissioning. The work primarily covers locations in Lloydminster, Kindersley, Estevan, and Swift Current, with responsibilities including downhole abandonment of oil, gas, and industry-related wells, flowline and pipeline abandonments, and well site/facility decommissioning. The contract term extends to July 31, 2029, with possible extensions. This is a Request for Supplier Qualifications to establish a pool of consultants for these services.
