Description

The Town of Wellesley is seeking proposals from qualified firms for project development, public engagement, design, and traffic engineering services related to the Fells Commercial Area and the Route 9 (Worcester Street) – Weston Road Interchange. The project aims to redesign the Route 9 ramp intersections with Weston Road and Cleveland Road to improve safe access and visibility for local businesses, as well as enhance pedestrian circulation and vehicular maneuvers. The selected consultant will collaborate with MassDOT, the Town, and the community to develop a preferred design and advance the project through the 25% Design Public Hearing for inclusion in the Boston MPO's TIP. The work includes public engagement, transportation planning, environmental permitting, lighting and landscape design, and preparation of cost estimates and technical documentation.
