Description

The City of Unalaska is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Communication Infrastructure Project. The project involves the installation of fiber optic cabling within and between City facilities, including approximately 66,000 feet of underground conduit and about 60 vaults. The work includes using the Blown Fiber method for backbone routes, fusion splicing, cable slack organization, installation of building entrances at about 35 locations, termination and testing of fiber endpoints, and documentation of installation and test results.
