This opportunity seeks contractors to provide and deliver a large quantity of construction aggregate for a federal project in Florida. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command, FA4814 6 CONS PK - Products/Services Requested: - Approximately 16,410 tons of Graded Crushed Aggregate Base Course (GCA), conforming to UGGS 32.11.23 and ASSSHTO #57 - Delivery and installation services for the aggregate - Quality assurance testing every 2,500 tons, including Gradation Analysis, Liquid Limit and Plasticity Index, Moisture Density Relationship, Wear, and Flat/Elongated Pieces tests - Certified delivery documentation (waybills and tickets) required for each vehicle - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs required for the aggregate material - Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) referenced for distributor certification, but not directly tied to the aggregate requirement - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must provide all plant, labor, materials, design, and supervision - Drivers must be licensed, English-speaking, and authorized to operate on military installations - Narrative demonstrating experience in similar projects required - Distributor certification for SNC products/services requested (though not directly related to the aggregate) - Place of Performance: - Delivery to Avon Park, Florida (vicinity of 45 South BLVD, Avon Park, FL 33825) - Contracting office located at 2610 Pink Flamingo Ave, Tampa, FL 33621-5119

Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for market research purposes only. This Is Not A Request For Proposal, Quotation Or Invitation for Bid. No Solicitation Is Currently Available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought announcement.  The Government will not be held accountable for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement

The Contractor shall provide all, plant, labor, material, design, and supervision to provide and deliver approximately 16,410 tons of Graded Crushed Aggregate Base Course (GCA). Please see attached SOW for more information. 

All interested, capable and qualified contractors are encouraged to reply to this sources sought notice. Interested contractors are requested to submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in projects of similar nature as described in the SOW. Narratives shall be no longer than 4 pages. All responses are required to be emailed to the point of contact (POC) listed below.

All interested parties are requested to provide the following information in their response:

(1) Name of Company

(2) Distributor verification/certification of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) products/services

(3) Email address and phone number of the main point of contact

(4) Business size, socio-economic status and Cage Code

(5) System of Award Management (SAM) Information

(6) Narrative explaining your interest, capability and qualification to meet this requirement

(7) Any additional information that is pertinent to this requirement that the Government should be made aware of.
