The U.S. Marine Corps 4th Reconnaissance Battalion is seeking full-time Small Craft Mechanic services to support maintenance and operations of small boats across multiple locations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Forces Reserve Regional Contracting Office, MFR Regional Contracting Office, New Orleans, LA - Scope of Services: - Full-time Small Craft Mechanic support for small boat maintenance and operations - Services required at five geographically separate boat lockers: - Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX (primary location) - Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oahu, HI - Company A, Alameda, CA - Company B, Smyrna, GA - Force Company boat locker, Mobile, AL - Includes technical collaboration, maintenance, operational training advisement, and support - Contractor must provide qualified personnel with relevant certifications and experience in military watercraft maintenance - Annual travel costs up to $15,000 included - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods (potential total of five years) - Products/Services Requested: - Small Craft Mechanic services (12 months per year, up to 5 years) - Travel costs (up to $15,000 per year) - Unique Requirements: - Regular travel to all five boat locker locations - Personnel must have experience and certifications relevant to military watercraft - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Further technical and performance details are provided in the Performance Work Statement

Marine Force Reserves has a requirement for non-personal services to provide full-time support in the area of small boat maintenance and operations across (5) geographically separate boat lockers within 4th Marine Division: San Antonio, TX, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Alameda, CA, Smyrna, GA, and Mobile, AL. The primary duty location is aboard Fort Sam Houston at the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion Headquarters and Service Company (H&S Co) Home Training Center (HTC) in San Antonio, TX.  Regular travel to the locations is integral in this position’s responsibilities.
