Description

The Department of National Defence (DND) of Canada is seeking industry feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the procurement of steel sheets, plates, and structural beams for the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and DND. The procurement aims to cover a period of at least ten years to support docking work period contracts at shipyards and fleet maintenance facilities in Montreal, Levis, Halifax, and Esquimalt. This RFI is intended to assess the availability of goods and industry capability to deliver, and is not a solicitation for tender or proposal. The contract period is estimated to be 132 months starting from September 1, 2026.
