NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAVSUP FLC intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for services related to Caterpillar Generator Maintenance to Carter Machiney Company, Inc. See the attached sole source justification for additional information regarding the sole source justification. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is soleyl within the discretion of the Government.
