This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will be issued.

Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes but is not limited to: in accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified. U.S. Coast Guard Base New Orleans is looking for qualified vendors to remove existing non-functional automatic transfer switch and replace with a new transfer switch. 

Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for full specifications. All work must be completed by a state-licensed contractor. All materials and installation shall meet or exceed applicable state codes and follow industry standards. No work is authorized without the authorization of the Contracting Officer (KO) or the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
