NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), on behalf of NOAA's GeoXO Program, is seeking industry input for a potential Mission Integration Prime procurement to support the GeoXO-1 and GeoXO-2 weather satellites. - Scope includes: - Launch vehicle procurement and integration for two satellites (GeoXO-1 and GeoXO-2) - Payload processing facility management and support for spacecraft, launch vehicle, and instrument vendors - Mission operations services for 10 years of on-orbit operations per satellite, including ground systems, antennas, and real-time operations - Anomaly investigation, recovery, and special engineering analysis tasks as needed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; NASA seeks technical approaches, prior experience, and rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates from industry - Satellites will carry advanced Imager, Sounder, and Data Collection System payloads - Notable requirements: - FISMA High compliant ground systems - Support for launch campaign planning, integration, and end-of-life decommissioning - Facilities and personnel to support pre-launch through 10 years of mission operations - Place of performance includes multiple federal facilities: NASA GSFC (MD), Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (VA), Consolidated Back-Up Command and Data Acquisition Station (WV), and NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (MD)

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather market intelligence, technical approaches, and rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) considerations to inform a potential future procurement of a “Mission Integration Prime” capability to manage and perform mission integration functions for GeoXO series satellites.
These documents are for information and planning purposes, to allow industry to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirements, to allow industry to provide meaningful feedback to improve the requirements for the Government’s consideration, and to promote competition.
All responses shall be submitted electronically via email to Travis Hagelberg at Travis.M.Hagelberg@nasa.gov no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time on May 4, 2026. When responding, please reference RFI-MIP-2026.
