The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), through its National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), is seeking qualified subcontractors for Noxious Weed and Vegetation Control services across multiple federal campuses in Colorado. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) - Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy - Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation - National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), managed by The Alliance for Energy Innovation - Scope of Services: - Noxious weed and vegetation control at South Table Mountain, Flatirons Campus, and South Table Mountain Energy Park - Herbicide/pesticide application by Colorado-licensed and certified applicators - Vegetation management around decorative rock areas and fire breaks - Recommendations for plant-specific remedies - Compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations - Use of electric equipment is preferred - Transportation capability for personnel and equipment required - Response times of 5-10 business days for as-needed requests - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Applicators must hold a valid Colorado Commercial Applicator License and be certified in relevant pest control categories - Preference for electric-powered equipment to support sustainability goals - Services must be performed seasonally (spring, summer, fall) and as-needed - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the procurement focuses on service provision - Products/Equipment: - No specific products, part numbers, or quantities are identified; all necessary tools, supplies, and materials are to be provided by the subcontractor - Place of Performance: - South Table Mountain Site, Golden, CO - Flatirons Campus, Arvada, CO - South Table Mountain Energy Park, Golden, CO
