USDA Forest Service Tree Planting Services - 2026 Rio Grande Reforestation BPA Call

This opportunity from the USDA Forest Service seeks contractors to perform large-scale tree planting and reforestation services in the Rio Grande National Forest, Colorado, under a BPA Call for the 2026 Rio Grande Reforestation project. - Only contractors with an existing LMIR BPA for tree planting in this forest are eligible to respond - Scope includes planting approximately 28,600 containerized Engelmann spruce and Douglas-fir seedlings across multiple units in the Table Mountain area - Planting requires site preparation (8x8 inch scalping), natural microsite shading, and hand planting using hoedads - Additional walk-in access requirements for Units 6 (1,500 seedlings) and 17 (5,700 seedlings) - Government furnishes seedlings, maps, and access; contractor provides all labor, equipment, and supervision - Quality assurance and performance standards are strictly enforced, with penalties for wasted trees or non-performance - Use of artificial shade/protection materials (e.g., Tree Shade Cards, Vexar Tubing) may be required - Payment is based on planting quality and adherence to contract standards - Completion required by September 30, 2026, with planting to begin no later than September 23, 2026 - All work performed in the Rio Grande National Forest, including Table Mountain units and Divide Ranger District, Mineral County, Colorado - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; eligible contractors must hold the relevant LMIR BPA - All requirements, quality standards, and wage determinations are detailed in the attachments

This notice is for a BPA Call Order to be issued against an existing Land ManagementIntegrated Resources (LMIR) BlanketPurchase Agreement (BPA). To respond to this solicitation, contractors must have an existing LMIR BPA that includes Tree Planting Services for the Rio Grande National Forest.
