  • Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy with C-Arm
  • Large quantities of single-use fibers for each laser system, including:
  • Boston Scientific Xpeeda 550 DSL Fiber, Side-firing, Holmium Fiber
  • Other approved Holmium fibers
  • Quantities range from 5 to 200 units per item, with up to 1,000 single-use fibers

• Services Requested

  • Onsite Mobile Lithotripsy Services
  • Certified Medical Laser Safety Officers (CLSO/CLSO-M) and laser assistants
  • Radiologic Technologist operation for lithotripsy equipment
  • Equipment delivery, setup, operation, and standby/cancellation charges
  • Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) implementation for performance monitoring

• Unique or Notable Requirements

  • All personnel must be U.S. citizens, licensed, credentialed, and complete VA-required training and background checks
  • Strict infection control, quality assurance, and conduct standards
  • Only factory-trained, certified laser safety officers/assistants may operate equipment
  • No third-party fibers allowed for VA-owned lasers
  • Standby/cancellation charges apply if procedures are not performed but staff and equipment are present
  • Evaluation criteria include technical expertise, price, and past performance
