This opportunity seeks qualified airport engineering consultants to provide on-call design, engineering, and construction project management services for Nantucket Memorial Airport from 2026 to 2029. - Government Buyer: - Nantucket Memorial Airport Commission (Town of Nantucket) - Office of the Airport Manager - Scope of Services: - On-call engineering and planning for FAA and non-federally funded airport projects - Design, engineering, and construction management for: - Taxiway reconfiguration (Taxiways B & C) - Ramp paving (North Ramp Paving Phases I & II) - Runway intersection reconstruction (Runway 33-Taxiway C) - Terminal optimization (including geothermal wells) - Pavement markings (annual) - SRE building expansion - Fuel farm expansion (Jet A and sustainable fuel tanks) - Employee housing projects (rehabilitation and new construction) - Air carrier gate hardstands - ARFF building rehabilitation - Terminal auto parking lot rehabilitation - PFAS mitigation and environmental reviews - Coordination with airport planning and grant applications - Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years of airport engineering experience - Compliance with FAA and MassDOT Aeronautics Division standards - Experience with Massachusetts public procurement and construction laws - Emphasis on environmental leadership, sustainable air service, and DBE participation - Ability to coordinate with ongoing airport planning efforts - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Contract Structure: - Three-year on-call contract (2026–2029) - Individual project scopes and fees negotiated per assignment - Potential for multiple awards or contract cancellation - Place of Performance: - Nantucket Memorial Airport, 14 Airport Rd, Nantucket, MA 02554 - Some work may occur in the Madequecham Valley area outside the airport perimeter
