This AD requires replacing affected fuel tank connection hoses, inspecting fuel tank chambers, and removing detached rubber material from fuel tank connection hoses to address fuel system contamination risks. Updated service material is mandated for Model DA 40 NG airplanes due to additional affected parts identified during production. The AD aims to prevent fuel starvation and reduced airplane control, effective April 30, 2026.
