This opportunity seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive fire protection system inspection, maintenance, and support services for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Maryland. - Government Buyer: - Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (Operations Department, Infrastructure Division) - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District (Contract Specialist: Tiffany Chisholm) - Scope of Services: - On-site inspection, preventative maintenance, modification, and repair of fire alarm, fire protection, extinguishing, and notification systems at NSWCCD facilities in Bethesda and Olney, Maryland - Annual inspections and maintenance for fire alarms, notification systems, sprinklers, extinguishing systems, standpipes, fire pumps, and support components - Service ticket response for repairs (emergent and non-emergent), including repairs and additions exceeding $2,500 with design review by qualified fire protection engineers - Incidental additions such as A/V devices, sprinkler heads, and detectors - Maintenance of a database for all equipment and maintenance records - Personnel Requirements: - All personnel must be qualified and certified (e.g., NICET levels) for fire protection systems - Strict adherence to security and quality control standards - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four one-year option periods (total up to 5 years) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the procurement is open to qualified providers - Unique Requirements: - Work must comply with established standards and contract terms - All equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision must be provided by the contractor - Work performed at federal facilities with strict security requirements

Description

The Contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to perform inspection, maintenance and operation support services for the Operations Department, Infrastructure Division, NSWCCD as defined in Section 5 of this Performance Work Statement. This shall include inspections, maintenance, modification, and repairs to all fire alarm, protection, extinguishing, and notification systems. The contractor shall maintain a database of all equipment and maintenance records. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the contract and consistently with the established standards in this PWS.
