The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking information from potential contractors to support KC-135R/T aircraft maintenance and modifications at Tinker Air Force Base. - Government Buyer: - United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Legacy Tanker Division, Tinker AFB, OK - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Contractors must have relationships with relevant OEMs and facilities capable of heavy repair - Products/Services Requested: - Depot Level Maintenance (scheduled and unscheduled) for KC-135R/T aircraft - Includes aircraft inspections, drop-in maintenance/repair, engine/APU repair, structural repairs - Modifications and installation of upgrades - Organizational and intermediate level maintenance - Worldwide Contract Field Team (CFT)/Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support and deployment support - Estimated annual requirements: - Approximately 12 unscheduled depot maintenance events - 15 Contract Field Teams (CFTs) - 30 modifications - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must have OEM relationships and facilities to support heavy repair activities - Ability to provide worldwide field support (CONUS and OCONUS) - No specific part numbers or product quantities are listed

Description

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force (USAF) to identify potential sources to perform KC-135R/T Depot Level Maintenance, Unscheduled Depot Level Maintenance, Modifications and Organizational Level/Intermediate Level Maintenance to supplement Organic Depot activities.  This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation.
