Description
This requirement is for a single-source contract with Kymeta Corporation to provide equipment and associated services for one year to support the 1st Combat Communications Squadron (1 CBCS) in achieving "on the move" communication and broadband capabilities which are critical to the unit's warfighting function. This will be accomplished through ten (10) Kymeta Osprey u8 terminals, a versatile and ruggedized solution providing multi-orbit, multi-network broadband access via unique embedded technology not available in other terminals, ensuring continuous network connectivity in the most rugged conditions. The contract includes ten (10) fully functional Osprey u8 terminals and a one-year service agreement for the 1 CBCS to maintain critical communication capabilities and effective mission execution.
