The City of Shreveport is seeking qualified contractors for a comprehensive renovation of the SPAR Recreation & Athletics Office at 856 Texas Avenue, Shreveport, LA. - Scope of Work: - Interior renovation of a 2-story, 6,000 sq. ft. office area - Demolition of existing walls, finishes, millwork, and fixtures, with proper debris disposal and salvage for reuse - Installation of new drywall partitions, ceiling panels, flooring (including direct glue carpet and luxury vinyl tile), and finishes - Electrical upgrades: new outlets, switches, panel work, and lighting fixtures - Notable lighting: Alcon Lighting Model 12290 pendant fixtures and new 2x4 LED light panel fixtures (or equivalents) - Mechanical upgrades: HVAC ductwork, supply/return registers, and air control dampers - Plumbing work: new plumbing fixtures and ice maker connection - Carpentry maintenance and repair: doors, frames, millwork, and hardware - Door hardware includes Schlage Jupiter locksets and Trimco Straight 10" Grip Pull sets - Installation of an Ice-O-Matic Model GEMU090 ice maker with drain pump and water filtration (or equivalent) - Countertops to use Wilsonart 'Luna Night' 1854K-35 Mirage Finish plastic laminate (or equivalent) - Ceiling panels specified as Armstrong 'School Zone Fine Fissured' #1713 (or equivalent) - Requirements & Compliance: - Adherence to all relevant building, safety, and plumbing codes - Coordination among trades and with the building owner - Participation requirements for disadvantaged, minority, small, and women-owned businesses - 5% bid bond, appropriate contractor licensing, and insurance required - Estimated contract value: $100,000 - Period of performance: 90 calendar days from notice to proceed
